Timberlake Psychiatric Services, PLLC offers diagnostic and medication management care in a relaxed, informal setting. Laurie Timberlake is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, and a three-time graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill. During her twenty-plus years of psychiatric nursing, she has worked with all ages, and in many subspecialties, including peripartum mood disorders, inpatient adult crisis and adolescent psychiatry. Ms. Timberlake strives to bring a reflective, holistic approach to her practice, and encourages clients to examine the impact of all aspects of their life on their well-being. She works primarily with school aged children, adolescents, and adults in her Chapel Hill office. She also offers online services to established patients. She welcomes clients of all racial, ethnic, gender and sexual identities, as well as any or no religious or spiritual affiliations. Her specialized interest areas are anxiety, depression, ADHD, and OCD.
